Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit MLIFE Cycling or submit a coaching application.
Current operator: Matej Lovše, Prebold, Slovenia, trading as MLIFE Cycling. Contact: info@mlifecycling.com. Full registered-business details will be added after the renewed entry in the Slovenian Business Register is completed. Until then, the website accepts non-binding enquiries only and does not process purchases.
1. Data we collect
When you use the application form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, country, selected service, available training hours, preferred start, cycling goals, background and current challenges. We also receive information you send directly by email or during a coaching relationship.
Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access. Optional advertising measurement is activated only after you accept it.
2. Why and on what basis we use it
- To review and answer your application and take steps at your request before a possible contract.
- To provide coaching and communicate with you when a contract is agreed.
- To secure, operate and improve the website based on legitimate interests.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties where applicable.
- To measure advertising only with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings.
3. Who receives the data
Data is shared only as needed with service providers that help operate the website and communication, including OpenAI/ChatGPT Sites for hosting, FormSubmit for transmitting the application, and email infrastructure used to receive and reply to messages. If you accept optional measurement, OpenAI advertising measurement may also receive technical event data. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using applicable transfer safeguards.
Application answers are never included in advertising events. The measurement event records only that a successfully accepted form submission occurred.
4. Retention
Unsuccessful or declined coaching enquiries are normally deleted within 12 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Data connected with an active coaching relationship is kept for the relationship and for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting and legal rules.
5. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and applicable Slovenian law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to info@mlifecycling.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
6. Health and training information
Coaching may involve training history and information relevant to safe planning. Do not submit medical records or sensitive health details through the initial website form. If such information is later genuinely needed, its handling and appropriate consent will be addressed separately. Coaching is not medical diagnosis or treatment.
7. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. This policy may be updated when services, providers or legal details change; the date above will show the latest version.
